These letters are being printed off and added to a binder that I will eventually present to my girls when they are old enough to read them. I plan to try and write a letter at least once a month to each of my girls. I thought that it would be nice to share them with all of you as well. 🙂
My Weight Loss Journey
Well, after reading a fellow bloggers post about her weight loss and her being willing to put up before and after pictures as well as her progress…I have decided to track mine on here as well!
Hopefully by doing this I will be more apt to stick with my plan and get even better results! I am absolutely DETERMINED to make a huge transformation and finally be happy with me again! I want to be a healthier me so that I can be the best role model possible for my girls 🙂
I know that I don’t look great…I know that my body needs a lot of work….so please, if you don’t have anything kind or constructive to say don’t comment on this one! I have enough self confidence issues without people adding to them! Thanks!
A BIG thanks to Courtney from A Few Days in the Life of Courtsie Ann B for helping me decide to do this! I know it will help motivate me!
This first picture set is comparing myself from April (I had my daughter March 7) when I was able to start my work outs to the end of May. I will also list my measurements to go along with it.

Why I Smell Like Poop!
“Mommy….why do you smell like poop?”
Okay…so maybe…JUST maybe…Ema asked me this question today.
Then again maybe she didn’t!
Maybe I am making all of this up. (at least I wish I was)
Sleep is for WUSSIES!
Yeah, I said it! Now what?!?
Haha! Okay calm down..I’m just kidding!
We all know that we technically need sleep but the question often arises how can we get some? Continue reading “Sleep is for WUSSIES!”
Not My Cat!
So we all know that when it comes to having a new born in the house you shouldn’t expect a lot of sleep. I knew this ahead of time and yet still was amazed at how little sleep I was getting! After a straight week of about 2 hours a night I was pretty out of it. My husband tried to help but then I just felt bad because he had to go to work the next day while I didn’t. My Journey to Parenthood
Okay, so I have thought long and hard about whether or not I wanted to do this post. It is a personal topic and a tough one for me to talk about sometimes. However…I have decided that I may feel better if I tell my story and let it out.
I know this is a bit lengthy and it was rather difficult for me to write. There were times during this post that I was laughing, crying, and sometimes that I just sat here in disbelief that we were able to make it through all of this.
This is my story of how I became known as this new and wonderful person: Mommy. Continue reading “My Journey to Parenthood”

Chickens
After a rough night with the girls (I will write about that in a bit.) I went outside to check on my hen that was laying on about 17 eggs and… Continue reading “Chickens”
Personal Bubble
Okay…let’s take a moment to be completely honest with ourselves.
We have all tried to figure out a way to get our kids to back off a bit and give us some space right?
No matter how much you love them, and I’ll just say it’s a whole heck of a lot, everyone needs some time alone. At least I am pretty sure I’m not the only one that feels this way.
Heck who knows…maybe I am having one of those “bad mom” moments that people talk about.
Anyways, as I was saying you may have even come up with a cute saying to let them know when they are too close and I would love for you guys to bombard my comments section below with your version! Continue reading “Personal Bubble”
Montessori In the Home
This post is going to probably come in a few parts, so I would like to list here the topics that I plan to cover throughout them.
-What is Montessori?
-Why do I feel like sharing what I know?
-How you can incorporate Montessori within your home, based on the age of your child.
-Websites that I recommend.
-Using Montessori in a home-school/day care environment.
-Lessons that I have created over the years that you can use.
Montessori in 10 words or less: Continue reading “Montessori In the Home”
