Bobbie Jo over at From Pregnant To Marathon is doing an awesome giveaway!I have long awaited a chance to give Jamberry Nails a try…she got to it first! But guess what?
She wants to share it with you guys!
So what did she have to say?
Hi, I’m Bobbie Jo!
I was in the Army for a few years, and during the time I served I was very limited to what I could do cosmetically. My make up was limited, my hair was limited, and my nails….were just…no.
Now I’m free, and I have cut lose like a rebel. I get my hair done
any. way. I. want.
and the same goes for my makeup and my nails!
I had heard of Jamberry Nails, but my thoughts were basically
“Stickers on my nails? I’ll pass — I can’t even keep my acrylic nails nice, let alone a sticker!”
until i tried them.
I am a believer
I LOVE these nails!!
I was soooo skeptical but boy am I glad I gave them a shot!
I worked with Noel, who is an Independent Consultant, and she was such a doll.
Let me just say this, I will purchase all Jamberry Nail items from her in the future.
Considering the fact that I’m training for a 26.2mi MARATHON…It’s only fitting that I pop my jamberry nail cherry with the Runner Girl Nail!
I was so tickled when I saw this. I was also excited to see that they had something that matched my hobby.
The first thing I did was view the website and watch the instructional video. It probably saved me a lot of time and trouble.
The application process was a little tricky, but i just know that the next time I do it, it will be a piece of cake. I’m a newbie, i needed practice, but they still came out looking uh-may-zing.

My next concern was how long they would last. Im a mom, im a blogger, I run a small business, I change poopy diapers, I deal with cleaners, chemicals and other things that I won’t even mention. I don’t see how a bunch of stickers can stand up to this madness.
Let me tell you something – Day 5 and my fingers have been through all of the above mentioned things and they show NO SIGNS of wear and tear! Im veryyyyy Impressed! I have weak brittle nails and these are helping them to grown out!
The only thing that I’ve noticed is that I didn’t cut all of the nail stickers even with the tip of my actual nail, so the stickers that were hanging over my nail a bit would lift where they hung over the tip. I cut off the excess and was fine, it didn’t even lift where it was touching the nail, just the overhang!
I’m looking into purchasing a few more of these sets soon, but I’m dying to know how long these will last before I have to remove them. As of now they still look as good as the day I applied them!
How about these?
It costs me anywhere from $23-$45 to get my nails done and they typically last me a couple of weeks. These cost around $15, don’t tear up your real nails, look like a flawless fingernail polish job, and based on what I’ve seen so far, could outlast acrylic and gel nails!
