Sit Around Saturday: Making Our Life Matter

First, I would like to apologize for my absence the past few days. I have not been doing much on my blog due to a friend losing their child. Although it wasn’t family that I lost…it has hit me pretty hard. I just keep looking at my girls and I can honestly say I don’t think I ever want to let go of them now. (Not that I did before…but I may be in psycho mode now.) I appreciate you guys being so understanding..I have had Jen’s Sit Around questions for a while now and just haven’t been able to write my “fun” parts. I hope this isn’t lacking and that you guys enjoy it 🙂

Guest Post: “Miracle of Belief: The Story of a Six-Year-Old Heart Hero”

I was asked to be a part of sharing and promoting this amazing story and giveaway. Those of you that know me personally or have kept up on Facebook know that recently a friend of mine went through something that I honestly don’t understand and would never wish upon anyone. They lost their 2 1/2 year old son to a brain tumor…a tumor that they didn’t even know existed until the day before his passing.

So when I was asked to participate in this I just couldn’t help but say yes. I hope that the coping techniques and determination in this story can help people that are going through similar situations.
