I know that I am tired of dryer sheets and bars! It’s sooooo wasteful! Today’s society is all about recycling and using Eco-Friendly materials. Woolzies Dryer Balls are a logical useful solution!
For some reason, we often forget how much we are wasting with every load of laundry that we do!
Don’t worry…I’m not about to tell you to stop washing your clothes! We don’t want a ton of stinky people running around!
Want to know more about Woolzies Dryer Balls and how they can help solve this problem?
Woolzies Dryer Balls are an amazing product! They are 100% Eco-Friendly and can even be used by people that have wool allergies!
Not really sure how that works…but this is what they say! I don’t know anyone with wool allergies to test it on…sowwie!
Woolzies Dryer Balls come in an absolutely beautiful package! Emalee wanted to open it the moment she saw it. Not sure what appealed to the child in her really..maybe when you see the pictures you can help me figure it out =)
So, Emalee was so ready to see what these things were all about that she decided it was time to do some laundry.
We read the instructions, I was a little surprised to see that I had to use ALL 6 balls at once…but I suppose that makes sense, washed a load of clothes and tossed in our brand new balls!
Don’t judge me! So we don’t do that whole separate the colors and stuff…we just wash clothes! So far in the 6 years living in our house we haven’t had a single issue doing it this way.
Anyways…so Emalee wouldn’t let me do it! She insisted that she put the balls in. She was super proud to be doing the laundry with me.
One of the things that WoolziesDryer Balls claims to do is cut down on your drying time. Seriously??
With our old cheap dryer we would have had to dry that load you see 3 times to get it fully dry! These little balls are supposed to cut my drying time down by 25%?!? This I have to see!
So…what did Emalee and I do while we waited not so patiently on our clothes to dry?
We played with the most awesome box ever!! Notice that Emalee is in two different sets of clothing in these…that’s because to this day (weeks later) SHE IS STILL PLAYING WITH THAT BOX!!
She saw the holes and said “MOM! We can make a telescope!! We just need a paper towel tube and a mirror or something!” and off she went to find those things. This is certainly one that I say keep for the kiddos!
Now I know you are wondering…was it loud?? Did all of those balls bang around and make so much noise you couldn’t stand it? Well, I expected you to ask that! So here you go…
Guess what??
IT WORKED!
This load of clothes was dry in just 1 try!!
Holy CRAP! Guys! Seriously?!? No more drying things 3 and 4 times??? This is one happy moma!
Well, Woolzies Dryer Balls also claim to last for at least 1000 loads! That is a lot! I haven’t had the chance to get through quite that many…but here is what they look like after around 100 loads.
If you want your laundry to smell nice:
Drip a few drops of your favorite essential oils onto ONE ball and toss it in for the last ten minutes or so. You can even change the smell up with every load!
And of course…what kind of reviewer would I be if I didn’t give you an AWESOME before and after picture??
Although these dryer balls cost $34.95 I honestly think they are worth it!
Let’s compare somethings here:
Dryer Sheets 120 a box for about $6.50
Most people use 1 to 2 sheets so that’s between 60 – 100 loads per box. In order to cover the 1000 loads that Woolzies can do you would pay between $65 (10 boxes) and $108 (17 boxes) to get dryer sheets.
Although you can’t find numbers online to help with this one, we used the Bounce Dryer Bars before getting Woolzies Dryer Balls and got about the same performance as the sheets.
You pay $10 for the first dryer bar and $6 for each one after that. They last for a bout 100 loads.
In order to get 1000 loads you would pay about $64.
