This week has been full of fun and tears! Annaliese has hit that 4 month old stage where she cries almost non-stop and nothing I do seems to help. My mom had someone close to her pass away. Yet still there were laughs…so I suppose it’s time to share a few!
Saturday means that it is time yet again for me to link up with Melissa over at The Mommyhood Chronicles for my second Saturday full of laughs! Come join in on all the fun!
Broke my phone today. Poor guy got the short end of the stick. It was a complicated matter.
It all started with some SC State employees that are completely incompetent at their jobs. I mean I told them what it would take to fix the problem at the beginning of the support call, 2 hours later they suggest the same thing I said. WTF! Then I go to run. Just a simple run. I get to the parking lot. Park, change clothes all the while listening to music on spotify that was downloaded to the phone on the truck radio. I pause the playback and connect my bluetooth headset. Spotify fails to play at all. It shows, but the sound isn’t working. So I disconnect the bluetooth, close spotify and try again. While I work on this problem, RunKeeper is in the background running and still has yet to get a GPS signal. TWO DAYS IN A ROW NO GPS! Now this is not a terrible problem for me for I ran last time without the GPS. It just makes it tough for me to see if I’m keeping my normal pace or beating it, like I’d like to. So after another failed attempt at getting spotify to work I decide maybe a restart of the phone will fix both problems. So I restart the phone. It comes back on and not only does the GPS still not work but spotify has logged me out and deleted all my music! OMFG STAB ME IN THE BACK! This was just the last straw to the end of a frustrating day. Poor guy took about 5 hits from a steering wheel.
But alas, he is not dead. He refuses to die! OMG WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PHONE! Not only does it not want to work for me but it won’t break either! WTH! The only damage suffered was some cracked glass. Other than that, 100% functional like there were no problems.
I know what you are saying, “Well Daniel, what did you expect would happen when you bash the screen against the steering wheel?” Well concerned citizen I did not bash the screen against the steering wheel. I bashed the back of the case. The vibrations from the bashing cracked the 1mm thick glass. Well, I guess I will switch to one of the other 2 spare phones we own or perhaps spend the $5 for the new glass. All in all, a good day!
