Chickens
After a rough night with the girls (I will write about that in a bit.) I went outside to check on my hen that was laying on about 17 eggs and… Continue reading “Chickens”
Personal Bubble
Okay…let’s take a moment to be completely honest with ourselves.
We have all tried to figure out a way to get our kids to back off a bit and give us some space right?
No matter how much you love them, and I’ll just say it’s a whole heck of a lot, everyone needs some time alone. At least I am pretty sure I’m not the only one that feels this way.
Heck who knows…maybe I am having one of those “bad mom” moments that people talk about.
Anyways, as I was saying you may have even come up with a cute saying to let them know when they are too close and I would love for you guys to bombard my comments section below with your version! Continue reading “Personal Bubble”
Montessori In the Home
This post is going to probably come in a few parts, so I would like to list here the topics that I plan to cover throughout them.
-What is Montessori?
-Why do I feel like sharing what I know?
-How you can incorporate Montessori within your home, based on the age of your child.
-Websites that I recommend.
-Using Montessori in a home-school/day care environment.
-Lessons that I have created over the years that you can use.
Montessori in 10 words or less: Continue reading “Montessori In the Home”
This again?!?
Okay, come on and be honest…
I know I am not alone in this one! This is another one of those things we moms often think but try not to say.
Come on now, I know you have had the conversation I just had… Continue reading “This again?!?”
Blogging in 2013
The blog is slowly but surely joining the year 2013!! I have sort of figured out how to add buttons…however, I am still struggling with adding a Pin It button to the bottom where the other share options are!
Hmm…guess I have even more research ahead of me!!
I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the following websites for helping me figure this out! You guys sure did make it simple!!

Impatient baby
I have come to the conclusion that I have created two little monsters! Don’t get me wrong, I love them and wouldn’t trade them for anything in this world.
With that being said…I need to vent! Continue reading “Impatient baby”
Father’s Day 2013
Well my day didn’t go as wonderfully as I had pictured in my head…however, it was still amazing to see my dad. It took everything I had not to cry when he pulled up in the drive. I almost want to laugh looking back on how nervous and anxious I was this morning while straightening the house. For some reason I just knew that my daddy wasn’t going to show up. No matter how old I am…I think I will always get that nervous feeling inside when it comes to my daddy. I love him so very much and I hope that I can have him be a bigger part of my life now than he has ever been. Continue reading “Father’s Day 2013”
Who Says We Have To Be Grown-Ups?
Well…..after a busy, busy day where I accomplished next to nothing…..I felt rather down in the dumps when I sat down to do this post. I had some ideas for what I could talk about tonight…..but I just didn’t feel in the “right mood” for those types of topics anymore.
I tried and tried to work on my blog today. I got a little bit done…..but not nearly what I had planned to accomplish. The girls were all over me today and just weren’t willing to give me a break. My hubby tried to help out…..but they insisted on Mommy doing just about everything! I got some of my research done and a few new posts…even started a entire new section for Adventures in Cooking.
